EasyDP ("we", "us") helps Indian businesses comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy explains how we handle personal data on our own website and as a Data Processor for our customers.
1. Data we collect
On this website we collect only what you give us: your name and email when you contact us or join the waitlist, and analytics about how the site is used. We do not sell personal data.
For analytics we use Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics, which set no cookies. Google Analytics and PostHog, which do set cookies, load only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner, and you can switch them off again at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. These tools receive usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie, its purpose and how long it lasts.
Each form on this site shows a short notice explaining what it collects and why, which you can read or listen to in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam.
2. How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and to tell you when early access opens: details you gave us for that purpose, which the DPDP Act allows us to use for it without a separate consent (legitimate use, Section 7(a)). You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing us. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings”.
3. Data we process for customers
When a business uses EasyDP, we act as a Data Processor under the DPDP Act. We process their customers' personal data only on the business's instructions, to deliver consent management, data-request handling, notices, and audit logs. Our Data Processing Agreement sets out those terms in full — where your data is stored, who we use as sub-processors, and what we commit to on security and breach notification.
4. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@easydp.in and we will respond within the timelines the DPDP Act requires.
5. Security & retention
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
