EasyDP ("we", "us") helps Indian businesses comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy explains how we handle personal data on our own website and as a Data Processor for our customers.
1. Data we collect
On this website we collect only what you give us: your name and email when you contact us or join the waitlist, and analytics about how the site is used. We do not sell personal data.
For analytics we use Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics (both cookieless), and may use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand which pages help visitors and where they get stuck. These tools receive usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally, and you can block these tools with standard browser settings or extensions without losing any functionality on this site.
2. How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to send product updates you have asked for, and to improve the site. We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by emailing us.
3. Data we process for customers
When a business uses EasyDP, we act as a Data Processor under the DPDP Act. We process their customers' personal data only on the business's instructions, to deliver consent management, data-request handling, notices, and audit logs. Our Data Processing Agreement sets out those terms in full — where your data is stored, who we use as sub-processors, and what we commit to on security and breach notification.
4. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@easydp.in and we will respond within the timelines the DPDP Act requires.
5. Security & retention
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
