Seqrite is a well-known Indian cybersecurity name, and Seqrite Data Privacy extends that into data governance — discovery, consent and privacy assessments alongside the security tooling. If you already trust them to protect your endpoints, keeping privacy in the same place is a reasonable instinct. EasyDP is narrower on purpose. Here is an honest look at both.

You treat privacy as part of your security programme, you have IT staff to run the platform, and formal assessments like DPIA and RoPA are things you actually need to produce.
You do not have an IT team, and the honest scope of your problem is consent, notices, customer requests, breach steps and records that stand up later. You want that working now, at a small-business price.
It is a capable platform with a real strength worth naming: Seqrite states consent notices in 22 Indian languages powered by Bhashini, which is the most specific Indian-language claim we found from any vendor. It suits organisations that already manage privacy as part of security and have IT staff to run it. One practical note — Seqrite does not publish pricing, so you will need to request a demo.
The Act asks for reasonable security safeguards, which is not the same as buying a security platform. For a small business, that usually means sensible basics — limited access to customer data, sound passwords, and knowing what to do in the first 72 hours after a breach. A full data-governance platform is aimed at organisations with a much larger estate to protect.
